The Agency could not meet its target between 1st June and 31st October 2016 due to marketing dynamics. The minimum target to be supplied by an individual is 5,000MT of maize and the closing date for receipt of offers is Monday 7th November 2016 at 14:30hrs.Meanwhile, the Ministry of Agriculture has indicated that exports of maize will only be allowed once the Food Reserve Agency meets its minimum purchase target.
